WEEKLY COMMUNITY MASS
WE INVITE YOU JOIN US FOR VIRTUAL MASS
BROADCASTED LIVE FROM MCGIVNEY HALL (LINK AVALIBLE BELOW)
SUNDAY AFTERNOONS AT 4:30 PM
Open to all students, faculty, as well as family members and the community.
Mass will be celebrated virtually together online broadcasted LIVE from McGivney Hall.

In keeping with the mission and values of St. Mary's University, our Mass communities center on the beauty of grace Jesus Christ offers each one of us as we journey toward more authentic relationships with God and others.
The pastor, Fr. Petr Doherty OMI, also serves on faculty as a professor of psychology. He understands the complex nature of human life, and the grief, hurt, and questions we often carry.
We offer a small and intimate community setting, where people feel encouraged to explore questions about faith.
Like the star of St. Mary's, we seek to be a light for the seekers, and a resting place for the hurting and vulnerable. We look forward to welcoming you.

STMU COMMUNITY MASS MASS UPDATE
Fall Term - November 2020
“With the recent COVID measures put in place by Alberta Health, we wanted to give you a brief update on how it impacts the St. Mary’s Community Mass. These are confusing and uncertain times, and all of us are impacted differently by these circumstances.
The current confusion and uncertainty may deter people from attending in-person Mass, and that is okay. At the same time, we want to assure you that measures have been put in place on St. Mary’s campus to ensure the environment is safe for people to experience the blessing of worship and sacrament in community with others.
Regardless of the numbers, we believe the effort of creating a space for community worship is so vital, for two reasons. First, we want to show the Church is not giving up on finding creative ways to strengthen people’s faith during this challenging times, and second, even when two or three are gathered together in His name, Christ assures us of the blessing of His presence.
With that in mind, if you are able, we look forward to sharing the blessing of being present with one another this Sunday at 4:30 PM - pre registration required, or joining us in spiritual communion online!

For deeper communion with Christ and His Church in these times, Holy Mary, mother of God, pray us.
